The classic and native eastern redbud is the state tree of Oklahoma. Easily grown in average soils in sun to part shade, although it’s best protected from afternoon sun. Stunning, pea-like rose-purple flowers bloom on bare branches in early spring. Fall color is a pale yellow.. Mature Size: 20′-30′ x 25′-35′ after 10 years.
