African Violet (Mini)

$5.99

Saintpaulia ionantha, commonly known as African Violet, is native to Tanzania and Kenya’s tropical rainforests. It’s a compact, evergreen perennial that thrives in pots with its rosette of fuzzy leaves and charming violet, pink, or white flowers. This plant prefers bright, indirect light, bottom watering, consistent moisture without waterlogging, and well-draining soil rich in organic matter. African Violets require high humidity and warm temperatures, avoiding any water on the leaves, direct sunlight and extreme heat, which can damage the leaves. It grows moderately fast, has no known air-purifying qualities, and is non-toxic to humans and animals.. Mature Size: 6″ x 6-12″ after 2 years. Shade, Morning Sun Afternoon Shade.
