Oxalis, commonly known as wood sorrel or false shamrock, is a diverse genus that includes several species, some of which are favored as houseplants for their attractive foliage and flowers. It prefers bright, indirect light to encourage flowering while protecting it from the intense midday sun. It thrives in well-draining, slightly acidic to neutral soil and requires moderate watering, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. High humidity is beneficial but not essential. Some species of Oxalis are known for their air-purifying qualities, although they should be handled with care as certain types can be toxic if ingested by pets or humans.. Mature Size: 6-12″ x 6-12″ after 2 years. Shade, Morning Sun Afternoon Shade.
