Epipremnum aureum, commonly known as golden pothos or devil’s ivy, is a climbing vine native to the Society Islands. It can climb using aerial rootlets and usually reaches 6-8 feet, but has been known to grow longer. This evergreen plant has heart-shaped, variegated leaves that are yellow or white and green. It prefers bright indirect light or part sun and is well known for its air-purifying qualities. This plant contains calcium oxalate crystals and is toxic to humans and pets..
